Walmart D-Day

Yes, you have heard me right. I have gotten a D-day.

A D-day for those of you that have no idea is what Walmart likes to call a "decision making day" where the associate goes home to think about their mistakes and think about whether or not they want to stay with the company.

I got a D-day for the following reasons:

Let my boyfriend use my discount card -
Processed a WIC transaction incorrectly -
8 days absence -

When I worked at the Walmart in Oklahoma we took many different WICS. That is why when that came up in the office I was super surprised. I was not surprised about my days because I know I had it coming. I just fucking hate my job that much. Though three of the days was because there was a death in the family and because my car caught on fire a few months back. But all the other days where pretty much either me sick or me just fed up with the bullshit, or both. So yeah I suck.

So I might be loosing my job at Walmart soon. I really did not want it to happen this way because now I loose my reference. Walmart are the only people that took me in and gave me a chance and of course I have to work for one of the most fuckiest walmarts around. I loved the Walmart in Oklahoma but this one. NAH! They are all about the corporate greed. They are nothing like the Sam Walton vision. But that is okay because I will most likely not be with the company much longer.

Lets just hope my boyfriend gets a job. and soon.....fucking economy.....

Unfortunately, I'm on a D-Day now and the Co-Mgrs & Asst. Mgrs want to see if I can get the store Mgr to over turn the decison. It was really petty. One was fer doing my job & a customer called in and complained on me fer asking her & her 'partner' fer their IDs to buy liquor. The store I work fer wants us Cashiers to prove 21 age of all parties in the group who appear to be of legal drinking or smoking age or as the register prompts (Is Customer Under 40?) and you press yes or no. I'm not cool with their decision bc a better approach could have been taken! I'm sorry to hear about yers. I really didn't go into blah, blah blah, detail. I may post again, Idk. Take care.
